My Spouse
We met in college after being introduced by a mutual friend.
Our Kids:
We have been blessed with two beautiful children, ages 17 and 10.
My Adventures:
I have been stationed many places, from flight school in Pensacola, FL and Sacremento, CA to my first assignment in an operational squadron in San Jose, CA. The Navy has taken me to the east coast and many stops on the west coast as well. One of the best tour we had was being stationed in Okinawa, Japan. It was like being on vacation for two whole years. o see an NFL exhibition game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets. We loved Japan and the kids cried when we had to leave Okinawa.
I spent the last year (July 07 - July 08) in Baghdad, Iraq working for the State Department on reconstruction efforts for the Iraqi people. I gained a lot of valuable insight on U.S. foreign policy while managing a foriegn assistance reconstruction program. It was a lot of work, but I know we didi some good work. I'm back in San Diego now enjoying a great first career, and am looking forward to an even better second career. I can't believe I've been in the Navy 21 years. Time sure flies.
