Valerie's Story
After graduation I started working for Lockheed. I worked there for about 3 years. I met a wonderful man there and we were married in Sept of 1976. I stopped working then to start a family. We had Erin in 1978 then we had a son Philip in 1982.My husband had gotten a job transfer to the Lockheed down in Austin Texas in 1983.We lived there till 1986. on Philip is special. I had spinal meningitis when I was 12 days along with him. I found out I had meningitis & was pregnant at the same time. I worked for another few years. When we moved up to Vancouver Washington. That was in 1994. I started working for the school district there driving the big buses. What fun. I loved working with the kids. worked there from 1994-2011. I was widowed in 2009. I have been spending my time with my daughter Erin & her hubby and my 5 beautiful grand children. So life goes on!
