School
I can't say that High School was a highlight for me. I felt tired due to the fact that most of my energies were outside of school devoted to intense training as a professional dancer. Also, rather than for B.D., and although the idea went against my grain, I spent two seasons as an Edmonton Eskimo cheerleader after being attracted to the idea of making five bucks a game--offered by the EE cheerleading coach--one of my dance instructors at the time. e cracked me up, and I carried with me what he taught--even used some of his wisdom in my career. Boy have times changed! Remember we had designated smoking areas, and considering the era-the multitudes who hung out in the stairwells enjoying a joint or a little hash? I had a couple of rocky times socially when some of our school mates were charged or arrested, primarily due to the fact that my Dad was one of the first narcs on the newly formed drug squad-EPS. As a result I had some harsh comments/attitude flung in my direction--they must have assumed I ratted them out--wrong assumption.
