Valerie's Story
Hi all! I've been living in the Boston area since 1985 with my husband of 33 years (Mark Unger.) We live in Ashland, MA. I work in Boston for The Christian Science Publishing Society and am the point person for all the Christian Science churches around the world...by the way, Christian Science isn't Scientology, but a Christian denomination based on the Bible...just a little side note. LOL!
I love the Northeast, but miss friends and family that I don't get to see as often. And I miss the mountains and the laid back atmosphere of the West. The East Coast is very stimulating, energetic, and fascinating...but it is NOT laid back! Mark tells me I was born a Boston driver...I don't think that's a compliment! I love love love the Boston Red Sox...I'm an avid fan...who knew I had it in me! So I get to the games when I can...and even got to the 7th game of the ACLS when we beat...Expand for more
Cleveland to go on to the World Series in 2007...an event! for sure....but I digress....
Mark and I were never blessed with children, but enjoy each other very much and have wonderful friends. I have TONS of nieces and nephews, though, so have a great outlet for spoiling and enjoying all kinds of children!
By some standards, I suppose my life is pretty ordinary and boring, but I'm never bored. It's been an interesting ride...and if I'm able to get to the reunion this year, I'd love to catch up with old friends that I haven't seen for decades....Terry Galvin, are you listening?! Terry's not the only one, there are so many of you...Robin, Cherry, Craig Rowland, Katy, Jan Morphew,Maribel, Nancy, Rhonda, Susie, Debbie, Margene and the list just goes on and on!
