Valerie's Story
Hi Class of 1980, well like most of you I've had my ups and downs. Life as I see it is pretty good. I have a roof, a man who loves me and works his ass off, a beautiful, intelligent daughter who will be 23 and thank God has no intention of marrying at this time.
I have a degree in Dental Hygiene, imagine that, some of you may remember my fetish with teeth. However, right know I substitute at various dental ofcs. when someone is out due to "whatever". I like it this way bc then I don't have to deal with all the office politics!!!!! Nevertheless, my true love & passion are still horses. , and of course riding those awesome beasts. I work as a volunteer and ride at least twice a week, learning the disipline of Dressage.
I am still with Danny, but not married. Long story, after a seperation/divorce for about 3 years, we worked on ourselves, and as a couple and moved back in together. Things are going well, he is still handsome, and is a go getter. Doesn't party much anymore, only in Jamaica. I still like to have "fun", some good wine (cheap usually), and a good dirty martini once in a while. Music, movies, alittle yoga, free weights and walking with my tunes, laughing until my face hurts, and of course the horse(s). This my story in a nutshell. Hope to hear from you Class of 1980.
