Valerie's Story
Life
Three months after HS started working. Discovered the "club" scene. Traveled some. Moved to NC in '86. Played A LOT of volleyball. Married in '90. Two boys, 16 and 11. 3 dogs - cocker spaniel, boxer, newfoundland. Did this and that for a few years after quitting my job of 17 years. Worked for Freightliner Truck Mfg. until massive lay-off in '07. Kids are growing by leaps and bounds as I'm sure everyone who has at least one can relate.
I've been to Martinique (Club Med) and the Bahamas (cruise). Been to Atlanta, GA for the 1996 Olympics and Salt Lake City, Utah for the winter Olympics in 2002.
I enjoy watching pro football. I've been to several games in Charlotte as my sister-in-law has season tick...Expand for more
ets. Don't really go to watch the Panthers...just other teams we like. Other than Charlotte, we've been to the Brown's stadium in Cleveland and Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Wish I could get to Dallas before they blow that one up, but don't think I'm gonna make it.
I get up to NJ about once a year as I have a sister that still lives there.
