Valerie's Story

Life :-p Married/2 kids. We're both active duty military. We started in California, then came our relocation roller coaster ride: From California to Delaware to Turkey, to New Jersey to England and back to the US. I've served two tours in Iraq. I've returned from the last one February this year(07). I now live in Gig Harbor Washington (about 25 mi. south of Seattle). I'm retiring (from the military)this year and planning to make this perma home for myself and brood. The kids are getting tired of moving around, and we've found a really nice place to park. we've really gotten used to the rain having lived in England for 4 years. I'm going to start interviewing for jobs in multimedia and visual arts now--- Wish me luck!!! I've got some leads and I hope they pan out because I'm a big fan of not being poor :). And here's where I get truly ignorant: Classmates.com is a serious ripoff. I'd love to hear from you. :D Having had to be dependent on the internet for familial communication since 1995, I'm a firm believer of being able to reach out and touch without having to belong to a website that holds something like an email hostage. My side interest I've been a freelance web designer for 6 years on the side and now looking for a full-time gig. If any of you know of a place that need a web developer with advanced experience in HTML/CSS/Javascript and Adobe/Macromedia creative suite...holler!
