Valerie's Story
Life
After H.S. I attended Purdue University with a major in Nursing. My senior year, I met Tom O'Laughlin, a sophomore majoring in Aviation Technology. I worked in Lafayette, IN while waiting for Tom to graduate. We married in 1994. Then, we quickly left Indiana as he started on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. We then moved 8 times in 12 1/2 years as he pursued his career as an aviator flying the F/A 18 Hornet. te, Tim, and Daniel. Hope to get back to work a bit someday..... Our time with the Marine Corps Family has been unbelievable--great friends and fun--hope life in the civilian world does not disappoint us. Tom recently started flying for Southwest Airlines(another great family), as well as still doing a bit of flying with the Reserves. We are now trying to put down some roots in northern Indiana--so he can commute from Midway, and his family is up here, as well. Would love to keep in touch with more people from KHS.
