Valerie's Story
Hey to all fellow Panthers. I spent the first 26 years after High School married, raising 5 children and working in specialized personal security, paramedic, and law enforcement. My children are 28, 25, 24, 22, & 17. I moved away from my beloved Colorado 14 years ago and have spent my time raising livestock, dogs, & kids,lol. I have many interests and talents. I wanted to get on here and see who of my classmates are still around and see what is up for our 30 year reunion. Contact me if you remember me... have the same last name, but much has changed.. :-) I am also now the very proud grandmother of 3 beautiful boys. strange thinking we are all old enough to be grandparents huh? lol I am suffering from MS, Porphyria, and Polychondritis. ttacks, 6 heart surgeries, and a horrible car wreck that severely broke my back about 15 months ago. I was very lucky, I had a severe skull fracture but through the grace of God I am finally able to walk again, and chase after my grandkids. I am lucky to have made it this far and am hoping that the medical community will make leaps and bounds with the ability to lengthen my life for as long as possible. The Lord has kept me here so far so who knows what is in store. Can't wait to hear from any and all of my classmates. P.S don't move into a state that is considered part of "tornado alley", you just might end up in another state or a least most of your possesions will. In 15 years I have only lost 2 trees to lighting, now I have 16 tress down, on my house barn and lots of fences, anybody got a chainsaw..lol
