Valerie's Story
The short version of the last 30 years...
I was a january grad and went to boot camp Feb 1, 1980. I attended our High School graduation proudly wearing my service dress whites. The Navy put me through college and commissioned me as an Engineering Officer. After Desert Storm I received a disability retirement. t I was happiest working for myself. So I have owned several small businesses including an online antiques and collectibles store. I plan to launch my next business before the end of the year and will probably sell off my other business because I am spreading myself too thin.
I found Nebraska to be too stuffy so I moved to Iowa in 2000 and have never looked back. I love Iowa but may move back to Indiana to be closer to family as I get older.
