Cheri's Story
Just recently went to our 50th class reunion!!!! No, I'm not that old but, apparently my classmates felt sorry for me and included me in the invitation, so I went. It's funny how I remembered so many of them and they remembered me. It was a wonderful time getting to see so many of them and I still miss the ones who couldn't make it for one reason or another. So many have passed and my heart goes out to their families. I hope to keep in touch with so many more of them now that they know how to find me and I to find them.
I am currently doing what I refer to as RR&R. (RESCUE,RESTORE & REPURPOSE). It causes me to use the imagination God blessed me with so I can do something useful for myself and others. I am retired and can do what I want now that I don't have to work for a living....Expand for more
I truly enjoy being able to practice my artful inspirations.
I have survived cancer and am grateful that God saw fit to let me enjoy more of my life. As of this time I am closing in on the three year mark of being cancer free. Halleluja!!
I have two birth sons who have given me five beautiful grandchildren and they (2 of them) have given me two great grandsons and one great granddaughter. I have seven year old twin grandchildren. One granddaughter is 19 and the two with children of their own are 24 & 22 (or somewhere close). As I get older my grandchildren are a bit more difficult to remember their ages. Of course, I'm not old enough to have grandkids their ages but, my boys never listened to me when I told them I was way too young to have grandkids. (After all, I'm only 29).
