about Van:"My wife and I are retired D.I.S.D. teachers. We have two grown children, Kara Dodson Gates, and John Gates. We have three grandsons. We love to go to Seagoville and see them often. We plan on traveling with our new travel traier to National Parks and State Parks.
At this stage in my life I am very happy. I survived an operation which I was told I should have died. I feel I had a second chance from God. I am married and very happy. I love my three grand kids and try to see them whenever I can. I enjoy doing projects around the house to make it look better. I love visiting with my brothers and sisters whenever I can. I love to go fishing and camping. I also like good movies. I love to travel to places I've never been before. I love my two children, Kara and John Gates. I'm married to the sweetest girl a guy could have. She always puts me on top. I love her very much! Now that both of us are retired, we plan to travel more and spend more time with our grand kids. I also love riding my motorcycle.".
