Van's Story
HI, i'm in the middle of my third career change. I'm now in my jr. year at OSU , working towards my teaching cert. for middle school. I have been a youth sports coach for the last 30 years and i volunteer alot in my community. My wife and i have raised 4 kids and now have 3 grandsons. I have 3 kids in different colleges ( i'm classmates with one ). I played nationally competitve football until i reached 45 years of age, and i replaced that with acting. As some of you know i only attended A W my sophomore year, but i loved it. I finished at Columbus Brookhaven playing football and basketball. rth Dakota. I married while in the A F and have been married over 30 years. My first career was law enforcement and after discovering there are more outlaws wearing badges than were on the street, i changed careers. I ran the A T M test team for diebold inc. for more years than i care to remember and as afore mentioned i'm back in school so that i might teach middle school eng. and hist. . I may end up coaching football or basketball where ever i land. I have never really "grown up" and i'm always trying new things. I have never stopped missing my H S years ( that's what led me here. ). Uh Oh i'm out of time for right now. I will enter more later.
