Life
Hello everyone,
I finally have a few minutes to do this. My family moved to Hawaii, Oahu, November 2003. My husband works on the mainland, and comes home once every two weeks, for four days. I have two boys. My 12 year old has ASD, Autistic Spectrum disorder, and has made tremendous progress. My other son is 9, and has ADHD/PDD Nos, 1/2 ADHD and 1/2 ASD. I would love to be able to work, but I am not able to as yet, and have been fortunate enough to be able to help my son and others. I guess I spend most ...Expand for more
of my time helping and working with my sons and other children. I had a support group in Southern California of 160 families. I am also getting re-aquainted with famly members here. In my spare time I work out. I ran my first marathon in 2003, The Kilauea Wilderness marathon. I didn't realize until that morning, as I looked down to sign my release form that this is one of the toughest marathons. Although I've had a lot of negative experiences, I have learned and turn them into positive experiences for life.
