Vanessa's Story
Life
I am currently living in Johnson City, Tennessee...ya'll know where that is? After graduating high school (Wow, 13 years ago!), I moved to Greenville, North Carolina where I attended East Carolina University (the best five years of my life!). While at ECU I changed my major three times and then settled on an English degree. After graduating, I moved to the BIG city - Washington, DC. I lived in DC for 2 years and decided I couldn't keep up with the pace (and had a hard time working 2 jobs just to live there - it's VERY expensive, but a really fabulous place to live!). decided to go back to school (East Tennessee State) and to be closer to my family. I graduated with a degree in psychology and my masters in Special Education and am currently working as a behavior specialist for a local school system. More importantly, I FINALLY got married (just last June) to a great guy, Josh. I now am blessed with my new last name Petty (a very popular last name in Tennessee). Josh and I plan on moving to Knoxville next year - anyone in Knoxville? That's it for now...I can't wait to here from all my long lost friends - especially those from East Lake and ECU!
