Vanessa's Story
I attended Northwest Missouri State University during the spring semester of our senior year. I attended school for a year but decided to take some time off. I then moved to Missouri and reconnected, dated, and married an old friend! I had known my husband, Harley, from spending summers in Missouri since I was 13. We started dating in 1999. n 2006. We moved back to my husband's hometown, a little town of 2000 people in NW Missouri, in June 2007. I have a Bachelors degree in Finance, but after attending a Medical Mission trip to Brazil in 2005, it totally changed my outlook on life. I changed career paths soon after I graduated in 2006. I then put myself through MORE torture, and attended Nursing school. I graduated with my ADN (RN) in May 2009. We also welcome our second baby boy, Zander, in May 2009 as well. That's about it!
