Paula's Story

Life Life has been an interesting road. I don't regret a single step on my path as they have each made me the person that I am today. I'm a single mother of two wonderful boys and a stepdaughter. We have three dogs and a cat. It gets hectic, but I love my life. School MANY OF YOU WON'T REMEMBER ME. I WASN'T IN ANY PARTICULAR CLIQUE. I HAD LONG STRAIGHT BLACK HAIR. I HAD A CAST ON MY LEG SOPHOMORE YEAR. I HELPED BACKSTAGE IN DRAMA B/C I WAS TOO SCARED TO GET ON STAGE. I LOVED ART AND CREATIVE WRITING. I WAS PRESIDENT OF THE SPANISH CLUB ONCE YEAR. I ONLY DATED ONE GUY FROM HIGH SCHOOL AND WE ONLY HAD ONE DATE. THEN I STARTED DATING MY BEST FRIEND FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL. HE WAS ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISTAKES OF MY LIFE. er high school. I didn't do well in my last semester due to home problems. I ran away literally to the Army (reserves only). When I got back, I tried it again. My financial aid got fudged, so I ended up dropping out. I really liked college and hope to go back someday. I am now at the Shreveport Police Department. I teach classes to different groups and I'm trying to get on at the Academy. About the only art I do now is scrapbooking and personal projects. I regret not finishing college. I've finished a bachelor's program at Wiley College and will get my degree as soon as I pay them off. lol Workplace I worked alot of dead end jobs after high school and was not fulfilled. I knew I was meant for more than selling lottery tickets and cigarettes. I joined the Shreveport Police Department in 1994 and I've been there ever since. I am now in the Sex Crimes Unit.
