Well to tell you the truth I have gone to so Many Schools since I moved a lot. So the dates are a combination of doing two schools on the same year and so on. several times ,I left Schools and returned .
I Was born and raised in Los Angeles California 1957 So that makes me the Golden age of 50.
I Lived in a community called Happy Valley in Lincoln Heights. I attended Glen Alta Elm. Until My self and little Brother Rey Moved to Grants New Mexico. Not by Choice for about 2 1/2 years. Some of you might know me as The Little Skinny Girl that had No mother. It was a Rare thing to have in those days. Every Body had a Mommy and Daddy !
When I was in New Mexico I was just entering the 6 TH grade lived in Albuquerque New Mexico for about 6 months and attend 5 TH Street Elm School. Then Moved to Grants New Mexico to complete my 2 1/2 Years of living with my aunt. There I attended Franklin JR. High School I was in Pep Squad.As soon as my home sickness wore off here came my Father to up root me an my brother Rey Jr. Back Home to California. Oh Happy Day ! I arrived to celebrate my 14 TH Birthday. Enjoy the great Earthquake of the century And Entered El Sereno Jr High School. I still have my El Sereno Jr. high School I. D. Card ! Dated: 1972-1973 So get out your Year Books and look up Lucy AKA: Lucille Veloz. I was in Drama my Teacher was Mrs. Elizabeth Smith. I Loved her so much and she is always in my heart. God Bless me to meet her once more before I leave this Earth .
Then I went for a while to Nightingale Jr High School In the City of Eagle Rock For how long I don't know .
And returned to El Sereno Jr. High School. I was always coming and Going do to moving an so on.
I made the Big move To the San Fernando Valley to start a new life I put my self in to a foster Home As to I was tired of supporting my self and just needed a change. There is where I attended My Last High School. Polytechnic High School AKA : Poly High. For about 6 months. Soon I learned I was to independent and went back out on my own . lived in sin for 15 Miserable years. Took his last name of ( Aguilar) after that ...Expand for more
it was off to collage. and raising children and ended that relationship and married The Love of my life lasting over 16 Plus years.
I am now a Widow of just 5 years. My husband passed away on our favorite holiday. Valentines Day. February 14,2003
I was blessed with 2 Children from the first relationship + 4 from my beloved = 6 Children Total. That are now Adults and young Adults.
Past People I Remember: First of all the kids I was raised with. Were Mike and his sisters Debbie , Linda, Carol. Aguinaga. Who lived in City Tierra's L. A. Ca. and visited there Aunt Preicilla that raised me and my little Brother.
My Best friend was Susanna Encinas...... The Castro Family Susan Castro that lived on Serra Street. & Gracy also on Serra st...... Gabriel and his Brother Cheerios. They had a sister I Think,her name was Lupe ......Mary Miranda Lived in El Sereno on top of a big hill her Brother can't remember his name . but I do remember he has a White Birth mark streak on his hair..... Lori Duran.
as well lived in El Sereno off of Eastern Ave ...... Alex he was my Boy friend I think he attend Knighten Gale JR. High School. Lived by General Hospital.....Well if I remember any more I sure will add it here.
Hope to reunite with those that have long gone bye.

Update: July 5,2011:
went to a 4 TH of July Party. At my Daughters boy friend's Aunts Home. And out came the Year Book for El Sereno JR. High School: 1972 ...... Opens the book and who did I find looking back at me ? Lucy Veloz ??????? That was me ! OMG! All of your little faces that I remembered But the names are a fog. I was given this book as a loan. To Chip away from the years of Brain Freeze...... The list grows longer and longer..... I'll keep looking and continue to look you all up.....All I can say .....I hope God was good to you as he still is to me........

Looked at a face of a young boy. I know you .I know you were kind to me. Who are you ? Over and over again. OMG! The name rings a bell . Jessie Baldanado ? lol you were once my Boy Friend !
Another face I have not forgotten. Youlanda Barrion . She was a Chear leader .
