Vera's Story
After my years at Tech, I pursued computer programming, acquired a certificate, but did not use it. Left home and worked full time. Had several "good jobs" not requiring a degree, and got married. Had two girls and a divorce. Left Cleveland and moved to Fresno CA for 6 yrs. Re-married for 14 months and ran for my life to San Diego where I have set up stakes for over 30 yrs. now.
I am happily married and completed my Batchelor's degree in Business Management. I am currently a Procurement Analyst for with the Navy.
I have 2 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren. I write and direct christian plays. I love to dance, bowl, shoot pool and sing. Nothing like telling a go...Expand for more

I always wanted to be an Actor when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were probably right. Becoming a go-go girl while working in banks in Cleveland was probably my biggest surprise socially. Learning my mother wasn't my mother and I was the oldest of 13 (instead of being an only child) was my greatest shock and surprise at 27 yrs of age.
Re-connecting with my childhood friend after 40 yrs. was my greatest joy! Getting to know Jesus and the power of His name is my greatest comfort.
Strengthening my faith and helping others know the power of Jesus' Name and His love for us is my greatest ambition and goal.
