Life
I'm still pretty computer illiterate, so there's no way I can figure out how to post a picture, and I'm surely not going to give my weight....just remember me as a teenager...or maybe not!!!
After graduating from Illinois State, I taught for a few years in Wheaton, got married and moved to California. We had two children while in San Diego, a girl and a boy, and moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1990. Most of my time has been spent volunteering in school and various other areas, and I have worked for several years as a weight watcher leader.
In 1998, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy, followed by chemotherapy. As you can 'see', it is twenty years later, and I am fine. ...Expand for more
I can hardly believe I was ever sick, but I feel blessed every day!
Our daughter, Gina, graduated from college, went to work and had a baby boy 14 years ago - I cannot believe I'm a grandmother! They live next door thanks me, so I enjoy the opportunity to watch another young man grow up. Jaxon is truly a joy! Our son, Matt, graduated from college in 2004, and is gainfully employed by a company in Washington, DC. He married. and had two boys.
I keep in touch with a few people from H-F, but would love to hear from more. Seems like yesterday that I was in high school...where has the time gone?!
Update: I was recently divorced....after 41 years! Looking forward to the next reunion....
