Vera's Story
I was married for 47 years to Peter, who passed away in July 2001 from complications of Parkinson's. I have three successful children and 12 grandchildren, all of whom are bright, good-looking and wonderful. However, none of them live near me and that makes me quite lonely. I have traveled the world and had many adventures. I have been doing genealogy of my ancestors in south east Poland, and have visited there several times. lalaika, surfing the internet and keeping in touch with many relatives and friends. I like to attend theater and orchestra concerts, read mysteries, self-help and spiritual books, and keep up with politics and what is going on in the financial world. In addition to all that, I write childrens stories for my grandchildren and love to cook for a large crowd -- something that doesn't happen very often these days. I would like to be in touch with family who may be seeking their lineage also. Any former classmates are also welcome to seek me out. Carpe Diem!
