Verla's Story
Life
Married 49 this year on Nov 4th. Two children, Son, Ray, 44 years old, and a Daughter, Michelle, 41 years old.. Have Twin Grandsons, Leo and Andrew 10 years old. , born January 21, 2011 less then 2 minutes apart.. Have lived and worked in the Denver Metro Area since graduation. Presently,Home Maker and Selling Avon Products. Both of my Son and Daughter, Son in Law and the twins live with us. Just cheaper then own place and they helps pay the bills. We do lots of activities with the boys, swimming, train shows and going to the National Western Stock Show. That was until this last year with the COVID=19. Now we do a lot of home projects and playing board games, video games and such. We have a large back yard which requires a lot of work, we have had pool parties with the boys friends as well. me of the yard work. Both are going to 4th grade in September. Their other grandmother in Illinois, has cancer and we hope to send them out there to see her on last time this summer. They lived with her and her husband for several years and are close to her. She is their Nana.
Workplace
Worked for Denver Credit Reporting Bureau after Graduation until son born in 1977, Stayed home until he was two. Worked for Yellow Front Store, Asst Manager until birth of daughter in 1980. Stayed home until she was two. Worked for ALSCO a linen Supply Company, Route Sales Person. Had to move on joined up with EPX Form Print, doing bindery work a few years then was Shipper. Father had heart attack shortly after leaving EPX. Worked for H & R Block doing Income Taxes since 2000 until 2005. Now selling Avon Products and do Tax Returns for my own customers.
