Vermelle's Story
Let's see after I left Bennettsville I went to claflin college for about a year and half. I met a friend of a classmate we hit it off right away in 6 months we were married had a child right away he had joined the military so I traveled with my husband for 20 years we have been to Ft. Campbell ky, Ft. Hood Tx where our second child was born From there it was Germany loved it didnt want to come back to the states! We were then station at Ft. Polk, La where we had our third child from there it was Ft. Benning Ga where we retired and live about 20 miles away in Alabama ( it's cheaper for houses) June of this year would have marked our 30th anniversay but do to my husband all the changes I have been through with him decided it was time to truly live . s I will be single again and looking forward to it. I have two beautiful grandchildren from my second child who are 5 and 2 love them to pieces. Currently I work for a credit card company and do private duty on the side . I have moved to to Columbus, Ga near my middle daughter Vancie. I am looking forward to all that this year has in store fo me this is the year of new begining the number 8 represents new beginings. I am strong in the LORd so I know all things are working out for my good. I also have 3 dogs which are like my children I have always been a animal lover.My son Benjamin the oldest child is in Irac as a contractor doing computer geek stuff, so keep him in your prayers for me okay. Well now you know a little bit of what is going on with me. Looking forward to talking to old classmates and meeting new friends, be blessed.
