es at Radio Shack for over a year and led to a programming position with a local developer of custom software for construction industry. I finished this saga with owning my own support/sales business for the software for 16 years ending in 2005.. I also worked at Tower Automotive from 1999-2009 and WTCM Radio from 2003-2008, From 2001-2003 I was Treasurer of our UAW Local at Tower and then worked as a union steward from 2007-2009. I then took a year off from working, before starting my 1st time ever going to college thanks to govt paid education via the Trade Adjustment Act. I completed my Associates degree in Accounting in 2012. Twelve days after my last NMC class, my wife suffered a collapsed lung and I ended up taking early SSA Retirement so I could be home and take care of her as her health declined over the next the next 31 months resulting in her passing on May 4, 2015. A month later I secured a part time job at a local convenience store/gas station very close to Grand Traverse Yacht Club (hint-LOL). This turned into a full time position in June 2016. Still there as of July 2017 !! *** Anybody know a rich lonely widow that I could meet and maybe finally officially retire??? LOL ***
