Vern's Story

So, what have I been up to since Graduation? Well, let's see? I was an Agent with Nationwide Insurance in Jefferson for 32 years before opting to take a buyout of my contract and begin an early retirement in 2002. p Trustee. But to me, my biggest accomplishment was winning the hand of my Forever Love, the former Miss Suzanne Nist of Edgewood High. Suzie and I will be celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary this Dec. 8th. And I love her as much today as I did the night of the '65 Snowball Dance when I first spied her across a crowded dance floor.

So, who remembers this little guy? It was, as far as I can remember, one of Suzie's projects, based on her artwork, to raise funds for the Elementary School's PTO back in the 80s.
