A cat lover at heart I have three.
Two shoes a long haired white and orange. she got her name because she was found on the highway and has to have 2 toes removed. First we called her new shoes because of the bandages the rest is history. Patches a 2 year old long haired white and charcoal named because he has patches of charcoal. AKA Mush Mouser. Last but not least there is sneekers/Poker Face a long haired dark brown almost black Remember I told you I was in the hair BIZ
Workplace
Started as a young girl in a salon owned by my Aunt & Uncle. At york they had beauty school as a option'which I entered into eagerly. Upon graduation I was ready to go to work....Expand for more
I worked in 3 salons before opening A Shear Encounter on Spring Rd. which was a dream and a goal that I had set for my self. At 25 tired of working for others I wanted my own salon. On the way home from traffic court I stopped in a very old salon and asked the owner who was 83 yrs old if she wanted to sell and 1 week later it was mine. As a family we gutted the salon and and 2 months later we opened A Shear Encounter. After 14 years at that location we moved into a new mall and opened a Full Service Salon Day Spa. We celebrated our 30th anniversary in December... It seems like yesterday!!!!!!! Your invited to visit in person, on face book. or on the web ashearencounter
