Verna's Story

Life Remarried in 2003 (by Elvis in Vegas...was that ever fun) and moved to Tucson, Arizona. Have 5 kids, and 9 grandkids. Was teaching in the Computer Center at Phoenix (community) College but retired when I remarried. Last year we went to Ireland and this year we are planning on Scotland and London. I belong to a historical organization called Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and do a lot of art work and sew...Expand for more
ing relating to the historical aspects of SCA. Took me 12 years to get to be a junior (kids and stuff intervened) and I finally got my B.A. in English, with art minor in 1973, and my M.A. in Education (Counseling concentration) in 1980. So, of course it makes sense that I was teaching Computers! I have lived in New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Connecticut and California. I love the Southwest Desert!
