Verna's Story

WOW! Did the years fly by or what?? Cannot believe I am now retired, still getting used to that term! I never though I would live anywhere but Michigan but I ended up living in Miami (of all places) and Hartford, Connecticut before once again returning to Michigan. I now live in Grand Rapids with my husband Skip who is an electrician. Collectively we have 7 children & 8 ...Expand for more
grandchildren... our best kids ever are our two dogs. I worked in Human Resources for many years and since I have retired I am now selling Mary Kay... fun, fun, fun! We have a boat in Spring Lake and try to spend every weekend there. Love that big lake! That is where I want my ashes sprinkled..... then I will never miss a sunrise or a sunset over those beautiful waters!
