Verne's Story

Left Laurel in 1968 for the USAF. Spent nearly 10 years overseas, retired in 1988 and went immediately back to the Middle East where I spent another 15 years as a senior logistics adviser to senior military leaders in Egypt, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates ...Expand for more
and Saudi Arabia. Returned to the USA to be close to parents who retired to North Georgia. Ended up working at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins Georgia where I retired from in 2021. I enjoy spending time with my family and working in my wood shop.
