Vernita's Story

Hi! I am so happy to be alive and well some 45+ years after graduation in 1972. Go Brownies! I have been blessed to graduate from The University of Alabama and have a career in education. I also enjoyed a second career in the Navy. I am married and have two wonderful boys (men now) and 3 granddaughters and one more due to arrive in December 2019. nd the outdoors. As a young person, I didn't enjoy and explore outdoor activities as much as I should have. I'm making up for some of that now in traveling and enjoying the sights of nature and man. I still live in the south but love to spend extra time in Vegas and San Diego. I love the journey I have been blessed with and I hope to enjoy many more years of the same.
