186 (?) Jarvis campaign rezoning occurred and off to PHS I went.
No amount of protesting could've changed the school district's mind, I didn't go to school the first week of ninth grade. As it turned out that was the best thing that could've happened to me, I loved it there. I had wonderful teachers and great times, and experiences. I did some pretty zany stuff. It wasn't as difficult hanging in PHS as it was living in my neighborhood. Rodney King was a childhood homeboy, his ghetto-life changed the nation.
As for PHS administrators I remember we had Mr. Duke and Mr. Franco, Mr. Steele and Mr. Pappas, not to mention a man I drove crazy his first year in the teaching field, Mr. Arnwine. I remember Mr. Rubalcalva and other faces where names have left.
If you knew me then then you know what I was into, right?
