Wow! Can't believe it's been five years since I updated my profile. Well, let's see...I am still married, just celebrated our 23rd. Our son, Michael is 22 and our daughter, Krissy is 20. She is in the Air Force and he is in the Kentucky National Guard. He served a one-year tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2004. He is now the father of two wonderful boys and a wonderful stepson. She is still single, thank God! That wasn't fun!! We still live on our 30 acre farm and have three horses, three dogs and a 19 year old cat! I am working at our local newspaper. I do a little of everything there...typeset, proofread, and even some reporting from time to time! It's really a great job! I am really looking forward to hearing from some of my old classmates...ooops, sorry about the "old" part. If you are like me...you are only as old as you feel!! Get those emails coming!!

I work for the local newspaper in our small town. The name of it is the Meade County Messenger. Actually started working there nearly four years ago just to cure my "empty nest syndrome" when my last child left home for the military. I really love my job. I do a little of everything. My favorite part of the job is reporting. I enjoy doing human interest stories.
Updated Jan 31, 2016 - A lot has happened in the past several years. I am still married to my wonderful husband Tim. He retired in 2014 and I no longer work at the paper .My mom had a stroke Christmas day 2011. She could no longer live by herself so we brought her from Texas to Kentucky to live with us. I quit my job at the paper and now care for her full time. We have three grandsons from our son and two granddaughters from his wife. Our daughter Krissy had a beautiful baby boy on Dec 19, 2015. We are truly blessed.
