Vicki's Story
I've been a widow for almost 7 years. I've been retired since 2009 after working many years as a legal secretary, personal secretary to former U.S. Rep. Dick Gephardt, and the last 8 years as a Fine Jewelry sales associate (most fun job). My husband died 9 days after I retired, so I'm still adjusting to life as a single person - I was married most of my life. I have one daughter and two beautiful grandchildren, 23 and 18.
My interests include St. Louis Cardinals (an AVID and loyal fan) and I play golf every chance I get. Music includes New Country, Old Rock...Expand for more
& Roll and Big Band. TV shows include Dancing with the Stars, Jeopardy!, Bones. Castle, NCIS's, CSI's, Law & Order SVU, Scorpion (favorite), Hawaii 50, Blue Bloods, etc., etc., etc.
More about Vicki: I'm "old now", but I think I'm still discovering who I am. I think I'm "younger" and have more energy and stamina than most 40- or 50-somethings I know. I walk 6-10 miles a day (most days), play golf once a week, take care of a big house and yard, so I keep busy. I like it that way, but would rather downsize on the house and spend more time on the golf course.
