Vicki's Story
Aug 2009
I have been with my soal mate since 1987. We have 4 kids. Currently our oldest daughter is buying her first home, our next in line is our son who is a student at McDaniel College, we have a 14 year old daughter still in high school and a 4 year old who will start Pre Kidergarten this year. I think other then the birth of my children whom have always been my whole life One of the best memories was when I won THE UNITED STATES KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIP in Timoniom MD. I was 29. It was only the begginner section which meant the other 18 woman had black belts except for myself and my sparring partner who was my cousin and went to the same school as I did. My cousin and I went all the way to the end and we were the last 2 left. As everyone gathered to see us fight: we flipped a coin. We had decided this prior to the event and the Master of the Event said he was proud of us because it showed real sportsmanship not to fight your fellow school mate. I was also given a plaque for holding three seats for the Board of the PTA for three years in a row (which had to be replaced by 3 different people) at my oldest daughter Elemetary school. I did not know they threw a party for me so I no showed. They say my name is on the school wall which started a Plaque of Board Members of the PTA who went over and beyond what was expected of them. drastically different. I am home daily because I am totally disabled on Social Security due to complications in my brain, neck, back and Narcolepsey. I just spent a almost 3 year withdraw from driving a car or motorcycle. I am up to a half hour at a time. We sold our second home because I do not like being a landlord. We currently live on a small farm where everyday I get to see God's creations and babies born and eggs hatched. Turkeys, Peacocks,Fainting Goats, ducks, geese and my favorite watch animals are the Guinea Keets. I have bred Siamese kittens for 9 years and have 3 generations. I miss my Harley. I got a bigger one 3 years ago to find out I need brain surgery. I am sure people remember me as the pot head and the one pregnant in the 12th grade. My babie was the turn in my life as well as my other children. Currently alcohol and drug free living a life to get my name in the book of life. I remember only a few people I would call friends because most were untrustable or I had nothing in common with them. I was a person who really was living an independant life, being hurt by whom I used to call friends in Jr High. Never again to really trust other people the same. I hope if you took time to read this that you are as filled up with life like I am. May GOD Bless you and Shine His Face Upon YOU and your Family this day and everyday after.
