Vicki's Story
I was married for 24 years to a very abusive man, left him 11 years ago and remarried a very caring, loving soul. We since bought a home together in Sedro Woolley, WA. I raised 4 wonderful children who are my life, and have 11 grand-kids from 3 of those 4 kids. When I remarried I inherited 2 more wonderful kids, well adults, and have added 4 more grand-kids to the mix. I graduated from CWU in 2006 with a BS in Food Science and Nutrition. I used my major for 9 years, until I started feeling the pain from the previous abuse. I had to quit work outside the house, but have since found the most awesome home job. I believe God has opened doors for me that I would of never found had my health not gone bad. God has given me an avenue to use my major and knowledge to enhance the lives of others. use of the company I work for, and the wellness products they provide, I have been able to educate people in eliminating the harmful chemicals in their homes so they can have the best opportunities to live the most productive life ever.
We love the outdoors, we love camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, exploring new country sides, photography, anything outdoorsy. I have a whole new outlook on life. When I left my ex I got my life back. I look forward to each day, and savor the air I breath. My husband, kids, and grand kids are my life. Never give up when things look bleak, look beyond what is happening, and know you can change the way things are.
Don't limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.
