Vicki's Story
Life:
Where to start? I moved to Tampa, FL. I married in 1981 and had 2 boys, 5 years apart. The second child was born in GA. I divorced in 1997, and remarried December 1998 to a very kind and loving man. He has 4 children.
School:
I bounced back and forth from Laurel County and Annville during high school. I ended up quitting school in '76. I got my GED while pregnant with child #2 in 1986. Then later, in 1993-96, went to Gwinnett Technical College. I am an administrative assistant.
Workplace:
After I married and had children, I was a stay-at-home mother (who also did in-home childcare) until my youngest was in 2nd grade. Then I went to work as a jewelry manager at a retail store for a couple of years. I worked at a couple of different office jobs afterward. I worked for almost 11 years in a very good office position. Life at the moment- May 2011:
I love studying God's word in group Bible studies. I think I am a typical Christian, struggling to live God's word in my life; imperfect and forgiven.
I have lots of friends and love to socialize with them. I have 4 dogs and 1 cat. All are rescues, except 1 of the dogs.
My husband is a disabled veteran and needs my care and organizational skills at home.
We spent most of the last year renovating our house...new flooring, painted inside & out, new furniture, etc. I love the change!
We bought a camper this year and we want to travel a little bit. My husband uses it for hunting.
My sons are grown now and have their own lives, but not married yet. My stepson married and has a little boy, now.
I watch too much TV, and I eat too many sweets. I like marguaritas and enjoying the gulf beaches.
