Vicki's Story
After graduation I spent 15 years working for attorneys, 10 years were spent doing word processing (the predecessor of the modern computer) in a law firm for 5 years and 10 years in the legal department of a bank.
I married in July 1979, and Joe and I celebrated our 44th anniversary this year. Our sons, Scott (born in 1985) and Sean (born in 1986) still live at home, since they will inherit it when Joe and I die.
I stopped working outside the home after Sean was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 5. I became his Legal Guardian when he turned 18. He was, and still is, a challenge to deal with.
We own, outright, our home in North Olmsted. Our sons will inherit the ...Expand for more
house so they will have a permanent place to live. We have done a lot of remodeling and updating the exterior and interior of our house.
I enjoy sewing and cooking. I am also a huge fan of Scooby Doo.
I hold my Extra Class Amateur Radio license. I have confirmed contacts from all 7 continents—including one from Antarctica!! I have been teaching religious education since 1986. I currently teach 5th grade. And, thanks to my older son, I have a live cactus plant, which I named Mr, Prickles. Our only pet is a dwarf hamster named Spook. Dogs and cats are out of the question, first due to our house being very small, and more importantly, due to allergies to dander.
