Vicki's Story

Life After graduation I started working. Susie Palmer Cripps & I used to spend a lot of time at "The Light" (HA! HA!) I met my husband, Ed Hadfield, in 1984. He just so happened to be on the Fenton Fire Department with my Dad. Kathy Foley Myers introduced us. Her husband, Bob Myers, was on the department too. Ed & I married in September 1986. In 1989 our son, Matt, was born. As of this posting (9/19/2006), Matt is a Senior at Fenton High School. I quit working when our son was born & my husband is an Engineer for G.M., so I didn't have to go back to work. I've enjoyed every minute!! My husband is now Deputy Fire Chief of the fire depar...Expand for more
tment & still at G.M. & we are preparing for graduation, senior pictures, open house & college. WHEW!!! For those of you that knew my Mom, she died of congestive heart failure & kidney failure in 2002. She was only 62 years old, but the illnesses had taken quite a toll on her. At least once a year there is a group of us that get together & go to Walden's. Lana Lemon, Kathy Foley, Susie Palmer, Debbie Hunter, Janet Beaubien & Bernie Mikulenas. We always have a great time! That's pretty much it. Life has been pretty interesting so far & I'm sure there is more to come. With a 17 year old boy in the house, there is NEVER a dull moment around here!!!
