Vicki's Story
Hi all, it's Vicki. It has been a long time. After graduation went to Middlesex County College, but being young and stupid I dropped out with six months left to graduate with an x-ray technician degree. Then my Uncle and I both graduated Dunkin Donut University in Braintree, MA. Yes, that is right. I worked with him a few years and then moved to Columbia, SC in 1992. I moved there to be with my parents,who moved there in 1988, and to raise Derek, my son, on my own. That all made me even a stonger person, yeah it was tough, but all of us go through tough times. That's what makes us who we are. O.K. Let's see. In April 2007, Derek and I married Rob. We all eloped to Gaitlinburg, TN. Derek gave me away. this year. Rob is a CAD technician and I work for USC Department of Ophthalmology. I've been working in the eye field now for 12 years. I just love dealing with people and trying to help them. At work and in life I stay very busy, sometimes too busy. In our free time we go to the beach or the mountains. I like writing poetry and playing majhong and word games on the computer. Through the years we have had gerbils, hamsters, lizards, tried birds, now all we have are three cats, hope to get a big dog when we have a yard. What else should I tell you all!
