Vicki's Story
Hi, I married my high school sweetheart back in September 1984. So we will be celebrating our 25th this year. We have 3 beautiful daughters. There names are Kadie(21yrsold) in college at Millikin for music teacher.She graduates this May. Connie(16yrsold) sohpmore at Belvidere High, Kelli(14yrsold) she is a 8th grader at Belvidere South Middle School. I am a 4-h leader like my dad was. I am a cosmetologist in my own home. Worked for a salon in Rockford for 20yrs and it closed down so now I am home for now. We have a 6.5acre farm and have 4horses ,2dogs,1 cat for the barn. Life is very busy with the girls schools and 4-h. The girls all play instruments and sing in choir at their schools. Karry and I did that too in school,so we know what fun it is. That is how I met karry in band with Mr. Johanning-a good band director. Karry still plays drums and sings and I play my flute alittle and sing all the time. ullest with our church family and girls. My parents are still alive and Karry's are not so we try to do as much as we can with them. Karry's siblings are all over and we stay in touch with them as much as we can. My siblings are in Wisconsin up by my dad,OShGosh Wis area and we try to go see them alot too. Karry works at Dean Foods and makes ice-cream all brands that Deans makes. He is a foreman so he is the boss. He works very hard for our family. I love him very much, He is my rock and my best friend. Living in the Belvidere area where you grew up is very nice and we enjoy were we are . All my friends are in 4-h and have horses or some sort of farm animal.Our neighbors are all friends and have been in 4-h too. It is so cool to know people that you do things with and their your neighbors too. I love this farm area around boone county and our 4-h division is one of the best too.
