Vicki's Story
Hi to everyone who stops by! Wouldn't it be fun to go back in time knowing what we know now. Wow!! Life could sure have been different for most of us. I left H.S. and started out at Univ. of IL Absolutely hated it. Ended up getting into the clerical field in an awesome office under the Legislature of IL. Worked there 28 years along with many 2nd jobs through the years. Had my son in '79 and spent years trying to have my daughter. She finally came along in '88. Great kids. I retired in 2002 on an ERI (early retirement incentive) and have been trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Waiting for that epiphany stilll to happen. cared for each other very much . Were best friends still. Three months later he died of a fatal heartattack. Life has never been the same since. Jacki, my daughter, is a senior at ISU and Todd, my son, is an architect in Spfld. I moved to Peoria last year with the people I was workinig for. I watch and care for their 3 boys. The oldest is ADHD with autistic tendencies and some problems with tourettes. The youngest is ADD and ODD (oppositional defiance disorder). I have my work cut out for me. I work 6 days a week and usually about 2 out of every week I want to quit!!! In general, life is good. I get lonely sometimes without someone to share my life with but I am convinced God will put the right person in my path someday. If you are reading this then please know that I would like to hear from you. Drop me a note anytime. Take care and may your lives be blessed.
