Vicki's Story
Had a wonderful baby boy in 1981, Luke. My family was there to help me raise him -- he has always been and still is the light of my life. He's now grown (27) and I can't tell you how proud I am of him. Luke married a precious/beautiful/wonderful girl, Farah and they now have a beautiful baby girl, Laila. Luke has not taken a back seat, but I have to say she is now the light of my life. he can't talk, but I can tell she loves me as much as I love her.
Because of my loving family, I've realized life is precious, so I try and stay healthy for them by working out. With the help of friends, they keep me motivated. Last year we trained for a 1/2 marathon through Endorphin Fitness and completed it...my time was not great, but I finished. God willing, I'd like to ultimately try a marathon but I don't know if my 50 year olds bones will hold out!
