Victoria's Story
Life
After college I swore I would never go back to school. Well, after my divorce I went to law school at night. I graduated in 1989, and became a Bronx Assistant District Attorney where I met my husband John, an NYPD Sergeant. We married in 1992 and in 1997 Michael John Curran, a red head with sea foam green eyes was born. So at 53, I'm the mother of a eleven year old! John was activated by the Navy in 2003 and did a tour in Washington DC and Bahrain. He was discharged in Feb. 2005, retired from the NYPD. I wrote that little bio in 2005 - now in 2013 my husband works for the United States Merchant Marine Academy on the Superintendent's staff. My son is now 16. He's 6' tall and growing and is a junior at St. Anthony's High School and I'm still at the DA's office looking forward to my boss' third run as DA. John is currently deployed to Afghanistan to help the Army, so they say he's in the "NARMY" and will be there until next year. Life is still good, just a little more challenging.
