Vickie's Story
It's July 2008 and life is good! Ken and I are blessed. We recently moved to Temple and really enjoy the area. Amanda graduated from UT and will begin her teaching career in Killeen at her old elementary school! She will be teaching first grade and is very excited. Guess all those years going to Bossier and to school with my mom gave her the bug!
Ken enjoys working around the yard and fishing. I still enjoy a good book and a movie! Life moves forward and each year we realize just how precious...Expand for more
it is. We lost Ken's sister, Peggy, in October 2007.
May 2008 marks my fourth year being cancer free! We now only take yearly trips to MD Anderson. The support of my terrific, wonderful husband, my family, friends and co-workers keeps me grounded and positive. Life is good!
My wish to you and yours, is that you always remember to enjoy each other, to laugh more than you cry, to find the humor in life, to remember those who have come and gone in our lives, and to make the most of each day!
