Vickie's Story
We left Madrid about one week after graduation and moved to New Bern,NC where I attended a local community college for two years. I then attended Bob Jones University in Greenville SC and majored in Physical Education. I graduated in 1981 and started teaching high school PE at Bob Jones Academy in Greenville, SC. I taught there for 23 years. I met my husband, Steve on a blind date and we were married in Dec. 1983. We have one son, Zechariah who is 20 and a Jr. at Bob Jones University. rcise Science from Furman University and I have been teaching university classes in the field of Health, Fitness and Recreation for the past four years. I also run a personal training business during the summers.
My husband, Steve works with hardscape products and is an avid basketball player and UK basketball fan. My son, Zach is an all around athlete and the joy of our life. I am thankful everyday for the Lord's goodness and blessings.
