Vickie's Story

I moved from San Diego in 1988 to West Virginia. I left WV 3-6-09 and now live and work in Ok. My daughter still lives in WV, with her husband and 1 year old daughter. I love the little BVI of Jost Van Dyke in the carribbean. For not going to college I have done pretty good. My daughter is now 29. I would love to re-connect with my friends from high school. I have met a great guy here in OK. He's a wonderful man. He actually loves me for me and I feel the same about him. I ran an Insurance company in WV, with my ex husband. I have transfered my insurabce license to OK and am nowe working as an associate agent for Shelter Insurance. This is fine for now but I will definately be looking to get my own agency. I also make and sell very fine jewelry on the internet and I have an internet sales business. I guess I do work alot but I really do enjoy it. Thanks I relax by working out or cleaning house. The wildest thing I ever did in high school was ditch every day in 9th grade. My hero is my kid. Shes great and I would do anything and everything for her. I hope people remember me as a fun loving person who was up for just about anything. The biggest suprise in my life is that love actually does exist. I have been married and divorced twice. I am in a wonderful relationship now and this guy knows exactly what he's doing. I would love to see Mrs. Clark again. She was the best teacher. I loved the child care center we got started in our senior year. We had a blast. Even though is was mostly the cheerleaders and the football players, we were all into it. It was a great time in my life. If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to help abandon pets, then spend the rest on my daughter, granddaughter and help my boyfried get set up in the business he wants to start. I would also save some.. To be truley happy, I would be just where I am today, with the exception of living closer to my daughter and her family. I actually married my first cruch. I had my daughter from that marriage. But he sucked as a dad and a husband. But Its all good. My current age is 53. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old and not active.. I was so completely WRONG!!!. I have always worked hard. I could easily be retired now but I am starting over and enjoying almost every minute of it. My ...Expand for more
best friend would tell you I'm fun and out going, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stuck up sometimes. But little did they know just how shy I really was back then.. I'm still a tom boy. I love my levis and t-shirts, but I do like to get all dressed up and go out on the town from time to time. The wierdest job I ever had was working at a drug rehab. It was interesting to say the least. I share my home with my boyfriend and 3 cats, which I find amazing. I have a trophy from playing in a volleyball league. We took first place once. If I had one do over I would have gotten my second divorce sooner, it would have been so much easier for all of us. But I really do look at things as if everything happens for a rwason. So maybe its a good thing there really are no do overs. In 10 years, I hope to be retired and maybe marry the guy I live with. They say the third time is the charm. . I'm going to get there by Working hard. I guess my oldest friend is Jennifer. She lives in WV. I can tell her anything and I do tell her everything. We are alot alike and also very different. We can have a great time doing nothing at all. We make heach other laugh until we cry over the cariest and most random bs. I guess everyone would be suprised that I really don't look my age. Peopke always tell me I look like I am in my late 30 or early 40's. I don't know why I am so lucky but I'm not going to question it. It sure wasn't all the good clean living. My first job was at at an apartment complex, where I got paid rent out the apartments to some crazy people sometimes. What I remember most about it is I got alot of good skills and training. I will never forget the first time I went to Disneyland. It was for my 7th birthday. It was magical. Everything was so big. I still love to go on rides and stuff like that. I always wanted to be a stewardess when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a pretty good idea. As it turns out, they were right, but I never did do anything like that. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have knowledge, ambition, and confidence to be able to deal with the day-to-day. I am a major pro football fan. I have been since I was 17. My teams are the vikings and the Packers. I also love hokey, my team is the red wings. I also love boxing.
