Vickie's Story
I live in Myrtle Beach, SC. I never
did like much of anything in Augusta. I have one son and with life choices and consequences, my
son is a leader and lives very well
on the Pacific Coast. He is 33. I
am on my 2nd marriage and seperated.
For the past 10 yrs. I have worked
on a medical journey to find drs.
counsellors and Rx's. I found psy.
disorders such as Chronic Fatigue
Syndrome and Bipolar Disorder takes
too many trial and errors and time
for the majority of the physicians.
They just try to reassure you that
yes you have symptonms and so they
makeup and treat you with nothing
associated with the real root of the problem. Just like you coming
back complaining and paying them at
least...Expand for more
$180 a visit which doesn't include the remainder of the medical team they refer you to and
they really dont know enough about
them to refer you. I have pretty good insurance; but mental illness
is hell and 50% is what they will
pay of the usual and customary
rate, I worked as a med. ass't for
25 yrs. I knew I was sick and I did
not give up or even thought of it
about not being given Social Security Benefits. All I know is that if you have no physcial symptoms and the diseases not related to mental unless you are
strapped in a bed with padded walls, you are just a victim of bad
life choices. I'll stop for now; because I try not to let it get to
me.50+is getting better and better
every day.
