Vickie's Story
I have two sons - you've seen the photo, ages 17 and 19. The oldest is going to BC, living with me in Btown and the youngest is in Grover Beach with my husband #2. He will start next semester at the community college in San Luis Obispo (my son, not my husband). I hope to retire in the next few years, move to GB and consolidate my life. I've been in high school education for 33 years and I have a single digit number of semeste...Expand for more
rs left before I retire. I have taught art, yearbook, photography & graphic arts for about half that time and later, a high school counselor. I did most of those years at BHS. I'm spending my last 5 or 6 years of my career at a great place to work, Regional Occupational Center, a career/technical school, a part of the Kern High School District. I guess I never left high school but life is good and I've always loved my job!!!
