Life..
Hi everyone, so where has the last 40 years gone anyway????
So here we are 40 years later and I'm living back in good ol' L.B. For all my Lancaster buddies, that about 380 miles north in the central valley. When I moved out of town back in 1973...I told myself that I would "NEVER" move back....One thing that I have learned over the years is "never say never."
I currently live here in town, bought a home like the rest of the out of towners and raised my one and only son. Son's now grown and gone... and yet I'm still hanging out here in LB. Yea...I don't understand either.
I've been married, divorced , married , and now happily divorced for 19 years. No new man in my life and I haven't found anyone that I'm willing to give up half of my walk-in closet or my garage for. I did try to go back in time and dated my first ex husband.(I bet you don't remember who he was!). That's going to have to be one of tho...Expand for more
se long stories we share over several cocktails. All I can say is you can never go back and there is a very good reason for that (inside joke).
As far as careers go.....I'm on my second career and looking for my third. They say you should have 3 career changes in a life time. My first career was 11 years in hospital management and the current one in mortgage banking, (going on 24 years); does anybody need to refinance? I think my next career will be something with a little less stress...like maybe open a flower stand on the beach in Santa Cruz...or professional dog walker.
That is about it for me.....hope I didn't put you to sleep!
