Vickie's Story
Just want to say hi to everybody. My lame story, here goes. Graduated and went to work at Rusk State Hospital. Got married in 1985. 1987-had son, John. Got divorced in 1989, due to husbands drug use and criminal life. Started college in 1990, wanted a fresh start. Graduated Lon Morris College in 1993. Dec. 1994 went to work for prison (beto 1). Met my soulmate working at the prison. Got remarried Jan.1996. Lost my father, May 1997. Had second son, Brandon Dec. 1997. My husband Al, worked at the prison until Sept. 2001. Al then became a U.S. Border Patrol Agent and we moved to Nogales,Az Feb.2002. Lost my mother to Alzheimer Oct. 2002. She lived with us in Nogales. We lived there until May 2008. Now we live in Westby, Montana. Westby is about 1 and 1/2 miles from Canada and 8 miles from N. Dakota border. Westby is a small town, so laid back. It reminds me of Rusk back when we were in elementary. They have a great school. Before when we lived in Az. I home schooled Brandon the last two years we were there. nksgiving until about April 15th. It is beautiful up here. We have all different kind of wildlife up here. We lease a 1100 acre old farm, the house was built in 1918 and is in excellent condition. There is a huge red barn built, 1929, big enough to put 3 or 4 houses in. I really enjoy it here. I would say my life, to me, has been like a fairytale. I have a great life and I am very thankful for everything I have especially, my husband, children, family, friends, and the good Lord above. I could not ask for anymore. I really hope to be able to get in touch with several people in my class. Just want to say I still am best friends with Karen Teer, we talk all the time. I still visit with old friends and family when I come back to Rusk. I hope everyone is well and having a great life.

I remember being invited to Donna Higgins birthday party in second grade. We went to Baskin Robbins and I got BUBBLE GUM ice cream. I thought I was special because Donna had a lot of popular girls at her party, and I WAS NOT one of them. Donna always treated me like a friend. Thanks Donna.
